Low-Pressure Back Pressure Valve

A low-pressure diaphragm back-pressure valve is an essential component used to stabilize the pressure in front of the valve, prevent pump self-flow, and siphon in a wide range of industries. It is commonly used in conjunction with a metering pump to improve its metering accuracy.


Technical Parameters:

Adjustable pressure range:  0-0.3MPa, 0-1.0MPa (see parameter table for details)

Safety test pressure:  1.5 times the maximum input pressure

Applicable temperature:  Ordinary diaphragm (-5℃ to +80℃); 

                                          PTFE diaphragm (-40℃ to +150℃)

Material:

Lower valve body (flow-through part): PVC, SS304, SS316L, PTFE lining, PVDF, PP, carbon steel, Hastelloy, etc. 

Diaphragm: EPDM lined with PTFE, PTFE, metal diaphragm, UPE, etc.

Upper valve body: Nylon, carbon steel, SS304, SS316L, etc.


The valve features a diaphragm that responds quickly to changes in pressure and adjusts the valve opening accordingly to maintain a constant pressure. This ensures a stable flow rate and prevents overpressure or underpressure in the system. With its low-pressure capabilities, this type of back-pressure valve is suitable for a range of applications where precise control of pressure and flow is required, such as in chemical processing, water treatment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Design features of a back pressure valve:

The structure is of a spring diaphragm type, with adjustable pressure, providing stable pressure for the valve.

The contact medium includes the lower valve body and diaphragm, and the sealing part of the lower valve body and diaphragm is processed with a sealing rib, which has a good sealing effect and high sensitivity.

The conventional diaphragm is made of EPDM or PTFE, and processed with cloth for good sealing effect and high service life. The pure PTFE diaphragm has high temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance.
