PVC Air Pulsation Dampener


The air type pulsation damper is a sealed tank that relies on the direct compression of air inside the tank by the liquid to provide a buffering effect. Using air as the medium for the pulsation dampener offers significant advantages in terms of weight reduction and cost, but it has certain limitations regarding temperature stability, compressibility, and load capacity. It is suitable for systems that do not require high buffering performance.

Our PVC air pulsation dampers have a pressure rating of 1.0MPa. PVC is lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to process and mold, which gives PVC air type pulsation dampers significant advantages in terms of weight reduction, cost, corrosion resistance, and customizability. They are suitable for various applications, especially in hydraulic fluid systems and chemical dosing systems etc.

A simple volume selection method is to multiply the stroke volume (in milliliters) by 26 to obtain the minimum volume needed to reduce 90% of the pulse.
