Diaphragm pulsation dampers, also known as pulsation dampeners or pulsation buffers which are commonly used components in metering pump systems to eliminate pipeline pulsation and water hammer. It is an essential accessory for metering pumps.
The PVC diaphragm pulsation damper can effectively reduce or eliminate water hammer in the system,protect the system from impact, reduce the peak value of flow rate fluctuations, ensure the correct display of the pump outlet pressure gauge, reduce the impact of pressure fluctuations on pipelines, elbows, and joints, and extend the service life.
PVC material has good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Compared with diaphragm pulsation dampers made of other materials, PVC pulsation dampeners are cheaper and allow the system to use smaller diameter pipes during installation, reducing installation and maintenance costs. It is an essential and preferred accessory for daily chemical dosing systems and fluid control systems.

"The diaphragm pulsation damper adopts the design with upper shell,lower shell,and they are separated by a diaphragm in the middle,it is the most commonly used pulsation dampener. The biggest advantage is that the diaphragm separates the pre-filled gas from the liquid in the pipeline, which is convenient for maintenance. Under appropriate selection and pressure conditions, it can eliminate more than 90% of the pulses.
Capacity selection method: Multiplying the volume of each stroke (milliliters) by 10 the minimum volume that can reduce pulses by 90%."
Design features
