The air pulsation damper is a sealed tank that relies on the direct compression of air inside the tank by the liquid to provide a buffering effect. Using air as the medium for the pulse damper offers significant advantages in terms of weight reduction and cost, but it has certain limitations regarding temperature stability, compressibility, and load capacity. It is suitable for systems that do not require high buffering performance.
Our stainless steel air pulsation dampers have a maximum pressure rating of 31.5 MPa. The design of the air damper is simple, making it easy to install and maintain. Combined with stainless steel material, it is corrosion-resistant, has high strength, and is durable, suitable for various harsh environments while maintaining stable performance in both low and high-temperature conditions. It is widely used in multiple industries, including chemical processing, food manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.
A simple volume selection method is to multiply the pump's stroke volume (in milliliters) by 26 to
obtain the minimum volume needed to reduce 90% of the pulse.
